Stocking renowned and trusted brands including Winnebago, Coromal, Windsor, Adria, Talvor, La Vista and Franklin Caravans and Motorhomes, the range has something to suit all travel styles and budgets.

 

Where We Started

Founded by the Trouchet family in 1985, Apollo Motorhome Holidays is the world’s largest privately owned recreational vehicle operator. The business grew from humble beginnings in a Brisbane backyard when Gus and Carolyn Trouchet purchased a single pop-top campervan to rent out. Demand for the vehicle grew, as did the Apollo brand. 

 

Sons Luke and Karl ultimately joined Apollo to assist in the day to day running of their business, starting with cleaning vehicles and mowing the yard on weekends. By 2001 the  brothers had stepped up to run the business, at which point Apollo employed four staff, with three branches and 50 vehicles.

 

Following the growth of the Apollo rental brands and positive feedback on the high quality and workmanship of the rental fleet, guests expressed their desire to purchase their own Apollo RV. Seeking to meet these demands, Talvor was created in 2005 to manufacture new vehicles as a stand-alone retail-ready brand.

 

In 2014 Apollo became the exclusive importer and distributor of Adria Mobil, a leading European RV manufacturer popular in the Australian market. This partnership was quickly followed by a landmark licensing agreement with Winnebago Industries to manufacture and market the world renowned brand in Australia.

 

Apollo RV Sales Today

 

Today, Apollo is a publicly listed company that has five RV Sales dealerships across Australia and two in New Zealand. They are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Geelong, Melbourne, Newcastle, Christchurch and Auckland. 

 

Apollo RV Sales retails a broad range of new recreational vehicles, including motorhomes, campervans and caravans. In addition to new stock, they also offer quality ex-rental campervans, motorhomes, and 4WDs for purchase from their range of sales vehicles. Our retail brands include Adria, Coromal, Franklin, La Vista, Talvor, Windsor and Winnebago, with the last three being designed and manufactured at the factory in Brisbane, Australia.
